Dr. Mor Peretz joines Newsite Imaging Technology Advisory Board

Dr. Mor Mordechai Peretz,


a prominent electrical engineer and computer scientist, has joined the Technolgy Advisory Board of Newsite Imaging.


Dr. Peretz founded, and currently directs, the Center for Power Electronics and Mixed-Signal IC, a faculty center at the Ben Gurion University for advanced basic and applied research in electronics, with primary focus of miniaturization of Power Management systems.

Dr. Peretz was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Laboratory for Power Management and Integrated SMPS at the University of Toronto. In 2012, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben-Gurion University, where he is currently heads the academic track of Circuits, Devices, Microelectronics and VLSI. He also serves as a representative of new faculty of engineering members at the BGU senate.

The main interests of Dr. Peretz’s research include switch-mode power supply (SMPS) miniaturization and integration, digital and smart control for efficient energy processing, mixed-signal IC, renewable energy and harvesting systems, ultra-high-speed switching and pulse-power, applications of nonlinear magnetics, and wireless energy.
