The SpectraLIT™ – B is Newsight’s Mini-Spectrometer based on Newsight’s Spectrometer-on-Chip NSP2020. The SpectraLIT™ can differentiate light intensity in wavelengths between 400 to 700nm, at high resolution, and provides vectors of 1024 digital values across the entire visible range. Each vector represents a unique spectral profile of the tested substance.
Run by an embedded controller and Windows-based software, the system allows Absorbance spectral signature acquisition, display, and analysis.
Using the special vector structure generated by the SpectraLIT -B, the mass deployment integrator can easily utilize cloud computing for Machin Learning and AI application, by using structured data generated by the device for substance classification and identification.

The SpectraLIT -B is using standard 4ml cuvettes which are easily inserted through a slide, covered with a top lid, and creates full isolation of the tested substance from external ambient light.
Using a specially developed algorithm, the SpectraLIT system can compare tested substance spectral profiles to profiles stored in the local database, allowing detection, identification, and classification of matching materials previously analyzed and identified by the SpectraLIT.
